BIOGRAPHIES - Udo Erasmus & Gary Bandzmer

Udo Erasmus is a Photographer, a person who has longed for a Nikon Camera, as he says, "for 40 years".   He recalls being too poor in College to buy the Nikon SLR that he had been eyeing for some time.

Udo has sold a few bottles of Flax Seed Oil since then, saved his pennies and bought a Nikon D2X and a 50mm Macro lens.  Udo's favorite subjects are flowers: getting close enough, intimate enough, "inside" enough - to capture the subtlety, geometry and celebration inherent in these wondrous, 100% - organic entities.

Another of Udo's forte's is Arial Photos - shooting from the window seats of innumerable jet airplane rides to many of the exotic destinations where he promotes Flax Seed Oil so he can buy fancier Nikon photo toys!   The Arial shots comprise a breath-taking array of Cloud Kingdom Vistas, Glacial Mountain-tops and Fiery sunsets (or Rises?) from forty thousand up in a Silver Bird.

Gary Bandzmer is a Web Designer, Graphic Artist, and a spare-time Photographer as well.  Creativity is his specialty, and it leaks out the cracks between his wisdom teeth.  He's also a musician, writer, videographer, and Throat-Singer to boot.

Gary's documented his own life with photographs since the early 80's, and after taking on the arduous task of maintaining the 60,000+ images in Udo's photo collection, he began experimenting with transforming some of Udo's "throw-away" or unuseable photos into masterpieces of abstract, psychedelic proportion.  It helps to be in an altered state to comprehend this process.

Besides creating Layered Abstract Montages, Gary has recently discovered the beauty of Black & White Photography, and has developed techniques of night-time extended exposure, as well as a wide variety of "artified" abstractions on renderings from his Lumix and Canon digital eyeballs.
